Description
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Structural Engineer to join our team in Dubai, UAE. The ideal candidate will have a background in civil and structural engineering, with experience in reinforced concrete building projects and working knowledge of structural analysis and design software. This role offers an opportunity to work alongside senior engineers, develop technical expertise, and contribute to structural design, coordination, and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities
Develop and update structural analysis models using ETABS and SAFE under the supervision of senior engineers. Assist in structural design calculations and reinforced concrete design. Prepare and revise structural drawings using AutoCAD and Revit. Coordinate structural designs and drawings with architectural and MEP disciplines. Assist in preparing, reviewing, and updating structural design documents. Ensure consistency between structural analysis models, design calculations, and final construction drawings. Review structural plans, sections, details, and reinforcement drawings against analysis models and engineers’ comments. Incorporate design revisions and technical mark-ups accurately. Follow project specifications, engineering standards, and deadlines.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering. Minimum 3 years of relevant structural engineering experience. Experience with reinforced concrete building projects. UAE-based consultancy experience is preferred. Good working knowledge of ETABS, SAFE, AutoCAD, and Revit. Understanding of structural detailing, reinforcement drawings, and construction practices. Ability to interpret structural drawings and coordinate with other engineering disciplines. Strong willingness to learn and develop professionally. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Good communication and coordination skills. Ability to follow technical instructions and work effectively under the guidance of senior engineers. Good command of written and spoken English. Ability to manage assigned tasks and meet project deadlines.
